Your Role as an Application Engineer at DSV As an Application Engineer at DSV, you'll be responsible for managing and optimizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Together with your colleagues from the Application Business Support team, you'll work on projects focused on designing and improving logistics data systems and applications. In this role, you’ll resolve system issues, respond to operational queries, and contribute to (process improvement) projects. You’ll work closely with a regional team of process and application engineers to facilitate and guide the most efficient implementation of new or existing logistics services — always tailored to both internal and external customer requirements. Your Key Responsibilities Handle incoming tickets and troubleshoot WMS issues (first and second line). Analyze and identify patterns or anomalies in reports and solve them sustainably. Translate internal and external customer requirements into clear specifications for the IT department. Proactively contribute to resolving WMS-related issues and suggest improvements (RedPrairie/JDA Dispatcher). Set up EDI integrations and onboard new customers in the system. Participate in logistics process improvement projects and larger-scale automation initiatives. This is a highly varied role with dynamic workdays. What You Bring A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of work experience in a similar role. Strong communication skills and analytical thinking; able to identify and specify operational and customer needs. A natural curiosity for systems and applications, with a detail-oriented and thorough working style. Affinity or experience with logistics processes, WMS, and SQL. Experience in project management is a plus. What We Offer A competitive monthly gross salary based on your experience. Full-time position.
