Logistics Manager – Ship Repair Industry Location: Marseille, France Salary: €2,500 – €2,700 net per month Employment Type: Full-time *CANDIDATES MUST HAVE MARINE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE* About the Role A well-established company operating in the ship repair industry is seeking a Logistics Manager for its facility in Marseille . This is a hands-on, operational role that requires strong organizational and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will oversee all logistical activities, including infrastructure setup, equipment management, materials flow, and team supervision within a complex industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Temporary Systems Coordination Manage the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of temporary infrastructure systems (electricity, water, ventilation, heating, etc.) used throughout the site. Equipment Oversight Ensure operational readiness and compliance of all logistical equipment including cranes, forklifts, tools, and other site machinery. Materials Flow Management Oversee the receipt, documentation, and internal distribution of all incoming materials and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking of deliveries and transport documents. Team Supervision Lead and coordinate logistics personnel including forklift drivers, electricians, and other support staff, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols. Usage Monitoring & Reporting Track and report key consumption metrics (e.g., electricity, water, crane/forklift hours, rented machinery use) to the project team for planning and cost control. Site Organization & Cleanliness Maintain the overall cleanliness, organization, and functional condition of all work areas, including workshops, storage areas, and open yards. Candidate Profile Experience in logistics or operations management, preferably within ship repair, construction, industrial maintenance, or maritime environments. Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. Familiarity with site equipment, temporary utility systems, and logistics documentation. Fluent in English ; French is a plus . Reliable, hands-on, and capable of working in a fast-paced, safety-critical setting.
