System & Process Specialist TMS

Lineage Transportation is embarking on a transformative journey to implement a global application landscape across multiple countries. As part of this initiative, we are implementing Blue Yonder TMS (formerly JDA TMS) to enhance logistics efficiency, optimize transportation workflows and drive cost savings across our operations. Job Summary: We are seeking a System & Process Specialist to support the successful implementation, integration and optimization of Blue Yonder TMS in Europe. The countries involved are UK, Netherlands, Poland and Spain. This role is critical in streamlining transportation processes, improving supply chain visibility and supporting digital transformation efforts within Lineage Transportation. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive best practices and ensure the system aligns with business needs. The EU team consist of four members and we are looking to extend the team with a new colleague. There is an opportunity to work from home for one or two days a week. When you are in the office you will mostly work from our Rotterdam office (Port City Building – Waalhaven Zuidzijde). Occasionally (a few times a year) you need to travel to our EU sites. Key Responsibilities: Support the design, configuration and deployment of Blue Yonder TMS within Europe in collaboration with operations. Integrate TMS with ERP, WMS and other supply chain platforms in collaboration with IT. Drive automation and digitalization in transportation planning and execution. Develop, optimize and maintain transportation models to optimize network design and freight movement. Conduct what-if scenario analysis to improve cost efficiency, sustainability and service levels. Utilize historical and real-time data to refine routing, carrier selection, and fleet optimization. Provide technical and functional support for Blue Yonder TMS users. Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT teams and vendors for resolution. Maintain system health and ensure high availability and performance. Train internal teams, stakeholders, and end-users on TMS functionalities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, IT, or a related field. 2-10 years of experience in TMS implementation, process improvement, or logistics TMS operations. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbally. Dutch, Spanish and or Polish would be a big plus. Expertise in TMS implementation and support. Preferable: expertise in Blue Yonder TMS and Transport Modeler. Knowledge of transportation planning and freight operations in Europe. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and stakeholder management.
