Position Summary/Objective: Full Time Driver CDL B/Warehouse Technician for Gemini Productions, located in Dallas, TX.

The Full Time Driver/Warehouse Technician position is responsible for hauling product and gear safely and within all standards and compliant protocols as laid out by the DOT and the Company. Full Time drivers, upon eligibility date, will receive benefits that are commensurate with Company benefits. We value our drivers as integral members of this growing business. When not driving, or as needed, this position will assist Gemini warehouse operations.

Wage for the Full Time CDL B Driver/Warehouse Technician:

$25 per hour

Benefits for the Full Time CDL B Driver/Warehouse Technician

  • On the first of the month following the start date, Drivers are eligible for all medical/dental and vision benefits. All other benefits including paid time off, 401K, paid holidays and paid vacation are at 90 days.

  • Upon the first day of FT employment, Drivers are eligible for paid sick time, and the amount is allocated per Quarter in which the start date falls.

Essential Functions of the CDL B Driver/Warehouse Technician: While not all-inclusive, following is a list of primary and general duties. In addition to these listed duties, this position shall also perform other related tasks as assigned, shall abide by all provisions of the Employee Handbook, and shall participate in required company initiatives and projects.

  • Drive long distances to deliver equipment/product/gear to customers

  • Record deliveries

  • Refuel and clean vehicle

  • Report road incidents as per Company process

  • Follow traffic laws

  • Inspect trucks and record issues

  • Follow accident reporting procedures

  • Follow all Company Safety Policies and DOT regulations

  • Keep an activities log and log hours.

  • Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel

  • Plan compliant routes of travel

  • Get gear/equipment/product to the client on time

  • Maintain a positive attitude with customers

  • Keep commercial driver license up to date

  • Perform other warehouse duties to assist as needed which include, but are not limited to, loading and unloading trucks and performing general warehouse duties.

Required Skills/Experience/Certifications for the CDL B Driver/Warehouse Technician

  • Candidates must have an active Class B CDL.

  • CDL B candidates must provide previous driving experience.

  • CDL B drivers are required to comply with all Company and DOT safety regulations.

  • Drivers are subject to a pre-employment drug screening and will be willing to be entered into a random testing program. (Per DOT requirements)

Physical Demands of the CDL B Driver

  1. Ability to push pull and or move up to 75 - 100 lbs occasionally

  2. Ability to work extended shifts (per DOT compliance) in indoor and outdoor environments in both cold and hot temperatures.

  3. Ability to remain in stationary position 85% of the time.

  4. Ability to push, pull and or move freight in and out of the truck occasionally using a pallet jack or other non-motorized equipment supplied by shipper or receiver.

  5. Ability to complete paperwork and follow up on administrative duties that require the use of computer, telephone and other office equipment.

  6. Ability to move, traverse a warehouse and office environment to complete all pre and post load pickup and drop off duties.

  7. Ability to communicate with warehouse staff, customers and vendors in a professional manner.

Travel

This primarily Driver position may require both day and night and overnight travel for one or more days (per DOT compliance) This position may incur weekend and overnight travel.
