JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Coordinator coordinates the activities of the warehouse and maintains various inventory and warehousing functions. The Warehouse Coordinator will show concern and respect for others by dealing with all our customers in a compassionate and responsive manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates delivery/pick-up time with pharmacy, nursing, and patient.
  • Gathers supplies and equipment for patient orders in preparation for shipment/delivery.
  • Assists in organizing delivery routes
  • Documents supplies on the Delivery Ticket and maintains a delivery log of activities.
  • Cleans and processes returned equipment in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintains professional appearance and attitude and serves as a liaison between the patient and other individuals encountered while in the patient’s home.
  • Assists with inventory control including receiving and stocking.
  • Maintains and tracks pumps and other equipment including cleaning and testing functions.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic computer skills Microsoft Office preferred to effectively communicate with the patient and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Mathematical skills required to calculate supply amounts and solve problems related to patient inventory.
  • Will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move greater than 50 pounds.
