Job Description

Our client in the Construction industry is looking for a Company Representative to join their team in Mossel Bay. The ideal candidate should possess a resilient personality capable of thriving in a challenging environment Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar field Construction industry knowledge is essential Sales-driven with excellent communication skills Technical expertise Strong project management skills Customer focused with excellent team work Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry. Develop and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's products or services. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of the company's offerings. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to secure new projects or partnerships. Project Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of construction projects. Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, design, procurement, and construction to ensure projects are executed according to specifications, budget, and timeline. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Facilitate communication between clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve conflicts and mitigate risks. Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, materials, and construction methods. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, architects, and contractors regarding product specifications, installation procedures, and best practices. Stay informed about industry trends, building codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and provide relevant advice to clients. Customer Service and Relationship Management: Respond promptly to client inquiries, requests for proposals (RFPs), and bid opportunities. Address client concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to achieve customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships. Follow up with clients after project completion to solicit feedback, assess performance, and identify opportunities for improvement or additional business. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of sales activities, project details, client communications, and financial transactions. Generate reports and forecasts to track sales performance, project metrics, and market trends, providing insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
