The Merchandise Operations Management Delivery team is responsible for modernization of Global Merchandise Financial systems, as well as our Pricing and Clearance Management systems. We achieve these goals by implementing off-the-shelf solutions (Oracle Retail), which drive the ability to support key finance processes and markdown strategies. Our business customers rely on the accuracy and integrity of the solutions we provide to manage our merchandise, pay our vendors correctly and in a timely fashion and ultimately report accurate data to Wall Street. Our team consists of over 50 Associates located across the globe, with plans to increase it now through expansion in our India office. Expanding TJX's presence in India will bring knowledge and expertise, local leadership and decision making, enabling us to deliver the right work, at the right time, in the right way. Over the next 12 months, our Indian presence will be the largest representation of the team in any global geography. Responsibilities: Will work with cross ART teams and Architecture to help the team to drive solutions and deliver product features. Will prioritize features which can be complex problems that drive product development while keeping product quality and security as the priority. Deliver products that meet TJX business demand in modernizing our unit data foundation, while playing pivotal role in supporting that vision for the team. Responsible for defining Team Product Backlog including backlog prioritization, refinement, and defining the acceptance criteria along with agreed upon definition of done. Partner with the Product Manager to understand priorities and PI features and supports driving the Product Increment (PI) objective at the Team Level. Act as the Customer for Systems Team including being the liaison between the stakeholder, product manager and other teams for optimal delivery outcomes. Attends and actively participates in Release Train Ceremonies: PI Planning, System Demo, ART Sync, and Inspect & Adapt when part of an ART. Attends and actively participates in Team Agile Ceremonies: Daily Scrum, Iteration Reviews. Enable the team to be empowered and self-regulated. Requirements: Overall 5 8 years of IT experience 3 years in an agile delivery framework, or requirement development in Product Owner or similar role. Experience working as part of an Agile Release Train in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Analyse complex cross functional business process and define integrated user stories using industry standard techniques. Experience working in data warehouse, cloud-based solutions and with BI tools. Define product features and break them further into product backlog items for the team to work on. Leverage various Agile processes such as Story and Value Stream Mapping and Estimating using Fibonacci scale. Maximizing the product value by defining and prioritizing technical requirements based on Business/Tech Value. Ensures the technical integrity of the solution during refinement while also considering DevOps and Security best practices. Facilitating effective communication to ensure alignment with overall product goals for feature closure. Extensive understanding of agile methodology, techniques, and agile tools (such as Jira and Confluence). Leverage Agile planning tools to get the team organized on feature priorities. Use of metrics to assess team progress and areas for improvement. Ensures team risks and cross team dependencies are identified and managed so that all teams are aligned. Ensures feedback from System Demos, Retrospectives and I&A workshops are taken back to teams for possible inclusion in future continuous improvement activities. Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations. Ability to work in distributed teams and develop multi-level relationships. Collaborating closely with Engineers to ensure that the product is successfully delivered. Nice to have: SAFe PO/PM Certified (or at least CSPO certified). Strong understanding / experience in Product Ownership for Agile Scrum Teams. Experience within a retail IT environment that guides, informs, and provides insight on what product enhancements, maintenance and efficiencies/remediation are needed. Experience working with custom developed applications. Working knowledge of Mainframe environments is preferred. Experience working in Snowflake and Power BI. Experience of providing guidance to the product team.
